The rumors of R. Kelly’s alleged sex cult that is brainwashing women and holding them captive have been swirling on the Internet since the news story broke early this morning, leaving many wondering how so many women could be duped and held against their will by such a disgusting person.
Leave it to TMZ to find the woman whose family gave a news conference Monday accusing Kelly of making 21-year-old Jocelyn Savage, as well as other women, his sex slaves.
In an exclusive video, Savage spoke with TMZ and told them that she is “in a happy place” with her life.
“I’m not being brainwashed or anything like that,” Savage says in the video. “It’s just came to a point where it definitely has got out of hand, so I just want everybody to know — my parents and everybody in the world — that I’m totally fine. I’m happy where I’m at and everything is OK with me.”
When asked if she is being held against her will or doing anything that she does not want to do, she replies, “Oh no, not at all. Never been feeling hostage or anything of that nature. Never.”
When asked why her family would come forward with this story or ask for a welfare check, Savage said, “I personally don’t really know what’s going on with that, so I wouldn’t want to answer that at this moment.”
She told TMZ that she hasn’t spoken with her parents in 5-6 months because of their accusations. She said the accusations have caused problems in her life and that she’s heartbroken over the situation.
She declined to tell TMZ where she is, and when asked if she had roommates or anyone else living with her, she declined to answer that as well.
I’m willing to bet this video was coerced, and she appeared to be getting coached from the sidelines, especially when TMZ began asking questions about her whereabouts and whether or not anyone else was with her.
Also, how is your family checking on your well-being “causing problems” in your life?
For the record, Kelly has denied the accusations, and according to TMZ he has even threatened legal action against Savage’s family.
