East High School star James Wiseman got an unexpected treat Monday afternoon. The University of Memphis signee emerged from the school building to a surprise ceremony to present him with the 2019 Gatorade National Player of the Year!

Dozens of students cheered as Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. presented Wiseman with the award.
