Sunday night, Tiffany Haddish made history during what was a particularly ‘pull no punches’ episode of Saturday Night Live.
The Girl’s Trip star kicked off her monologue by giving male viewers a pro-tip on appropriate behavior, at the expense of now disgraced comedian Louis C.K.
“If your thing’s out, and she’s got all her clothes on, you’re wrong. You are in the wrong,” Haddish said during the monologue.
“Wait until she takes her own clothes off, then pull your thing-thing out.”

While Haddish applauded SNL for inspiring her as a child, she also noted it’s lack of diversity made it a tough sell to her peers.
“You have no idea how difficult it is to convince a bunch of black and hispanic kids to watch SNL over ‘In Living Color,’ ” Haddish said. “Try to convince them that Dana Carvey is just as funny as Damon Wayans.”
During both her monologue and the show’s curtain call, the comedian who grew up in foster care in Los Angeles, thanked the social worker who pressed her to pursue comedy, and taxpayers.
“I want to thank everybody who paid taxes between 1990 and 1999, because without your tax dollars, I wouldn’t be standing here,” she said.
Other episode highlights include: a cold open that very quickly annihilated Roy Moore and Jeff Sessions, a recurring joke during Weekend Update about Haddish wearing her white dress again; a nod to her monologue where she admits people critique her for recycling expensive outfits at events, and a cleverly executed spoof of how outdated the DNC has become. The jab at the democratic party is undoubtedly in response to right wing conservatives who complain the show only attacks Trump.
