Jennifer Hudson might be in the middle of a breakup and custody battle but that only seems to be adding to the passion she brings to the stage.
The Grammy-winning singer poured all that emotion into a powerful performance with Pentatonix on the “A Very Pentatonix Christmas” TV special, which airs on Monday.
In a sneak peek, Hudson joins the a cappella quintet to sing “How Great Thou Art”–and it was pretty amazing.
Hudson doesn’t just sound great, she looks gorgeous too, wearing a bejeweled black dress with her hair pulled back.
Despite the troubles in their relationship, Hudson has permitted her estranged ex, David Ortunga, to spend time with their son David Jr. over Thanksgiving even though she has a restraining order in place.
