Lil’ Kim and her friends are reportedly being investigated by the LAPD after a robbery took place over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper and her crew allegedly robbed a woman after there was a dispute over a party house following the BET Awards.
Apparently, Lil’ Kim had rented out a house so that she could throw a party, but when she arrived at around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, she decided that the home wasn’t up to her standards and demanded the deposit check back. Either the home owner or attendant then refused to give the check back, at which point the police were called.
The police said that this was a civil issue and that they could not do anything to immediately address the problem. Lil’ Kim and the group left the property, but two hours later, a group of people in ski masks returned to the property. They took the deposit check as well as $20,000 in cash. They also slashed the tires of the car belonging to the homeowner and stole a hubcap.
Lil’ Kim has not yet commented on the allegations, and LAPD has not yet offered comment either.
