The final grades are in on the Tigers season — at least from Penny Hardaway’s point of view.
In his end-of-season press conference, Hardaway acknowledged the challenges of trying to blend existing players with his own recruits, while trying to install a new coaching system and style of play.
“I give us a B,” Hardaway said Tuesday afternoon. “We have a new system, coaching staff, joining two groups together . . . It took us a while to get to where we wanted to get to, but it was fun getting there.”
Hardaway also looked ahead to his incoming class of freshmen, which include Memphis East’s James Wiseman, Malcolm Dandridge as well as Olive Branch’s D.J. Jeffries. Click play to hear from Hardaway yourself!
