A man in Florida took police on a high-speed chase along a beach as he chugged whiskey and broadcast the entire ordeal on Facebook Live.

Ryan Stiles was arrested on Thursday after leading the cops on a nine-minute chase that ended on an island in Clearwater, Florida.

The 27-year-old drove over the beach, knocking down and running over multiple beach chairs while trying to escape.

“We were extremely fortunate that we didn’t lose any officers, nor did we lose any civilians,” Clearwater Deputy Police Chief Donald Hall said.

Stiles streamed approximately five minutes of the police chase, all while he was driving and drinking whiskey. As the sirens blared in the background, he can be heard saying, “We’re goin’ die tonight,” multiple times, all while drinking Canadian Mist whiskey.

At one point in the chase, as he drives over several beach chairs, he yells out, “Crash parade, bro!”

The chase came to an end at Caladesi Island when Stiles finally turned himself in.

Police say that they got a call at approximately 4:30 pm that Stiles had posted a video online in which he promised to ram police cars and buildings. Once he was located he refused to pull over and the chase ensued.

He has been charged with DUI, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding, hit and run with property damage, felony criminal mischief and threatening a public servant
