The President Just Told A Room Full of White Cops That He's Cool With Police Brutality. Here's Why I'm Not Bothered

President Donald Trump speaks at Suffolk Community College on July 28, 2017 in Brentwood, New York. Trump, speaking close to where the violent street gang MS-13 has committed a number of murders, urged Congress to dedicate more funding to border enforcement and faster deportations. The President of dividing the United States is at again. If he isn’t on Twitter sending out transphobic, racist, sexist, or xenophobic tweets then he’s holding speeches in front of hordes of like-minded followers.

On Friday, the President of White American Hatred delivered a speech to law enforcement officers on Long Island, New York, in which he encouraged police brutality, including hitting a suspects head against the car when placing them in the back seat.

“When you see these towns and when you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, and I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice,’” Trump said, The Huffington Post reports.

“Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over, like, don’t hit their head and they’ve just killed somebody, don’t hit their head, I said, ‘You can take the hand away, OK?’” he added.

Of course the rousing group of overseers officers applauded this hate speech.

“For years and years, [laws have] been made to protect the criminal,” Trump said. “Totally protect the criminal, not the officers. You do something wrong, you’re in more jeopardy than they are. These laws are stacked against you. We’re changing those laws.”

I would like to attack this speech in three parts and explain why none of this bothers me.

1. I Don’t Believe Anything Trump Says, Even When it’s Bad

Trump wants badly to be loved, but not by everyone, he wants to be loved by those he loves. He loves cops. Loves them! Loves them to a nauseating point of love. If cops ever ended the relationship with Trump he would be devastated. Love is important to Trump. So important that he is willing to say anything to receive it. It’s part of the reason that he can’t stomach the reports surrounding his approval ratings; and any other unpopular opinions about him. He has to be loved, and just like dictators before him, he craves approval. So his comments about giving police the leeway to abuse suspects is solely based in approval. He wants cops to love him, and it shows the type of America that he’s created when the president tells a police force that they can physically abuse a suspect, and the police force approves. And together they share in the communal hatred of suspects. Together they have bonded over hate. Police hate suspects. Trump loves police, therefore Trump hates suspects, too. It’s a simple equation really one that Trump rode all the way to the White House, so why would he stop now?

2. Trump is and Has Always Been an Asshole

This is just another asshole statement coming from an asshole. Trump realized something very early on in business that tends to play out in the presidency, that the majority of people he will be dealing with believe and look a lot like him. So he doesn’t give a shit who he offends because he never has to deal with them. How many Latino businessmen does Trump have to encounter when doing business? How many African American? Point is because he doesn’t court and or need minorities for anything remotely business related then he can behave like the asshole, freely and without repercussion.

If every black and latino banded together and no longer purchased any of his clothing, stayed at any of his hotels or played on any of his golf courts, Trump would probably lose 0.0001 percent of his gross income. Unlike many wealthy Americans, Trump built his empire devoid of minorities but there is a silver-lining in this that’s actually beneficial for us. We will always know exactly where Trump stands on any issue, because he is always telling us exactly how he feels, completely unfiltered. Because Trump’s success isn’t based on minority money, he can be openly racist and bigoted, which is actually refreshing. We don’t have to wait until mistress secretly records him and then shares the tapes with TMZ like former L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling, Trump is telling you straight up this is the deal.

He doesn’t care that Freddie Gray died after a rough ride in the back of a police paddy wagon in Baltimore, Md., to Trump that is a causality of war, and the war will always be the cops against everyone who is not white. This is who is in office. This is the man that is running and ruining the nation, and it’s better that we get to see him for exactly who he is.

3. Trump Ain’t Going to Do Shit

Since taking office Trump hasn’t done shit. He hasn’t pushed one piece of legislation through, hell he can’ even get a Republican Congress to back his bootleg ass healthcare plan. Trump is the kid in school that talks like he can fight and then runs to the principal at 2:45 p.m. to snitch on the kid he was going to fight. He’s Twitter fingers trying to become trigger fingers, but he can’t seem to make anything stick. Remember the wall? and all the other promises he made? Hell to here him tell it, he was going to implement slavery and make Make America Great Again hats mandatory in school, and he ain’t done shit. He’s President Pump Fake and until I see something come from his mouth and actually watch it come to fruition, he’s my Uncle talking to me about birthday, I ain’t never going to see that bread, and we aren’t ever going to see any legislation surrounding anything on any of these rally promises that he talks about. Will police feel more empowered knowing that the president supports their unruly behavior? Possibly. But I would assume watching the number of police who have gone uncharged after killing unarmed black men, women and children would be empowering enough.
