Level Up Conference returns with interactive thrust

Cynthia Daniels

For anyone looking to level up her/his business, career or personal life, look no further. Cynthia Daniels has created a conference just for you.

The Level Up Conference on Sept. 15 brings together 44 speakers and 12 panels for a day of learning and connectivity. Information is spread over four tracks.

Set for the Hilton Memphis, it’s the second year for the conference. Daniels is the CEO of Level Up.

“This year, we’re creating more interactive panels for entrepreneurs that will offer them more resources. Epicenter, Pathway Lending, Office of Business Diversity & Compliance and First Tennessee will host sessions to help them with everything from business plans to finding certain funding for their businesses,” said Daniels.

The event will also feature lectures with successful minority and women entrepreneurs, and the opportunity to network with inspiring leaders and entrepreneurs across the city.

Keynote speakers Megan Turner and Carolyn Hardy are among the powerhouses that will be in attendance.

“This conference was created for two types of individuals, entrepreneurs that are ready to take their business to the next level and individuals that feel stuck in their careers,” said Daniels.

Megan Turner’s personal journey led her to Memphis, where she served as the professional practices manager for the Internal Audit Division at First Horizon National Corporation.

In 2013, Turner, who now lives in Charlotte, rejoined Ernst & Young as a senior manager. Orange Mound native Hardy is the first African-American woman to hold several executive positions with companies such as Smucker’s and Coors Brewery. Hardy established Hardy Bottling in 2006, making it the first African-American female-owned brewery with a 100-million-case annual capacity.

“I’m very excited for the audience to hear their entrepreneurial journeys,” said Daniels.

The conference is designed to unite entrepreneurs in all stages of business development. With topics from branding and marketing to networking and business strategy, Level Up is pitched as the ultimate learning and professional development event for anyone growing a business.

“They will walk away with priceless information from these amazing speakers that will help them reach the next level in their lives,” said Daniels. “Elevate your passion and take your leap of faith by making the Level Up conference your first choice.”
