Looking for something different to feed your inner foodie? Just across the Mississippi state line in Southaven is The Hydeaway Grill. But once word gets out about the food, it won’t stay hidden for long.
The Southaven Chamber of Commerce joined owners Lisa Walker and Derek Newson for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 27. And then, it was time to see what was on the menu.
If you go, be on the lookout for the Gourmet Chef Salad, the Grilled Chicken Apple Pecan Salad and Hot Wings. They also serve catfish any way you like it – fried, grilled or blackened, and they offer an array of sandwiches.
I sampled some of their great food along with others at the ribbon cutting, and I promise you none of us was disappointed. I sampled their catfish and burgers, soft drinks and beer. But don’t take my word for it. When you get hungry, check them out at 156 Stateline Road in Southaven, just off of I-55, Neely’s Interstate Barbeque.
