Mempho Music Festival to showcase Bluff City’s contributions to music

October 6-7 – The First Annual Mempho Music Festival was created to blend today’s best sounds with Memphis’ storied musical heritage, creating a festival experience filled with music, food and nature that appeals to people of all ages. The festival is designed to pay homage to our community’s unique role in shaping and influencing global music culture. With two stages of music and culinary options for every taste and budget, MEMPHO offers attendees an abundance of great music and food in harmony with nature. October 6-8 – Unique Steppers of Memphis and Perignons Restaurant presents “The First Annual Black Tie Stepping Extravaganza.” The weekend event begins on Friday with a meet and greet from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. The main event will be Saturday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Brunch will be served on Sunday. October 7 – Disney on Ice presents Dream Big! Through enchanted pixie-dust, Tinker Bell takes you on a journey of all the beloved Disney tales live on ice. High-flying jumps, daring acrobatics, breathtaking skating and all of the lovable Disney queens make this an enchanting experience. October 7 – The “I am Comfortable being uncomfortable” SistaGirl Brunch is about laughing, crying, learning and sharing with another SistaGirl that is striving to make a difference in the community. There will be networking opportunities, shopping experiences and thought-provoking and fun-filled activities, as well as door prizes. Tickets are $50 at the door. October 8 – Tiara’s Teardrop presents “The 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch.” The event is meant to uplift, inspire and educate those who are affected by and living daily to survive breast cancer. Bret Miller will be the keynote speaker.
