Chandler Lawson, who will attend Oregon in the fall, scored 16 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists. He was named MVP of the 2019 Class AA. Johnathan Lawson put in a similar game, scoring 16 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists and a block.
Wooddale jumped out to an early 17-11 lead after the first quarter, but went cold in the second quarter, managing only six points. Knoxville Fulton led 26-23 at the half.
But after that, it was all Wooddale. The Cardinals outscored Knoxville Fulton 36-20, ultimately coasting to a comfortable win.
