Tiger Woods faces the music in DUI hearing

Tiger Woodspleaded guilty in his DUI hearing in Florida.

The hearing took all of ten minutes as Woods entered his guilty plea and agreed to be part of a DUI diversion program as a result.

Woods will also be on probation for 12 months and will be required to do 50 hours of community service. And while Woods has avoided jail time in this hearing, the judge was sure to tell him that if he was found to violate his parole, he could face up to 90 days in jail.

The DUI charge stems from a May incident in Jupiter, Florida, in which police officers found Woods asleep at the wheel of his car. At the time, Woods was reportedly disoriented, and dashcam video of the night shows that he was in rough shape.

At the time, he was charged with DUI, reckless driving and improper stopping, though as long as Woods stays out of trouble during his probation and his diversion program, the reckless driving charge will be wiped from his record.

After his arrest, Woods claimed that he had been on a cocktail of prescription drugs and did not realize that they would affect him as badly as they did. He issued an apology and also checked into rehab.
