Michael Jordan threw out Bow Wow’s shoes because they weren’t Jordans

Don’t wear any sneakers in Michael Jordan‘s presence unless they’re Jordans.

That’s the message Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, was touting during a recent interview in which he recalled a moment where he stayed at the basketball great’s house only to get his shoes thrown out for being the wrong brand.

“Michael Jordan threw away my Allen Iverson sneakers when I was at his house,” Moss said, explaining that he used to stay at Jordan’s house while he was touring the country. One day, he woke up to see that Jordan was holding his Iverson shoes and threw them out before getting Moss new shoes to wear instead.

Well, now he knows better.
