Watch the trailer for Shonda Rhimes’ new legal drama ‘For the People’

Scandal might be on its way out after its seventh season, but Shonda Rhimes has a new legal drama called For the People that we can all happily enjoy as we mourn the loss of our beloved Gladiators.

A trailer was released on Tuesday for the show, which focuses on New York’s Southern District federal court. The show follows the lives of young prosecutors and defense attorneys alike and stars Britne Oldford as Sandra Black, a rookie public defender who decided to go into the legal field after she was a young child and saw her own family subject to an injustice.
