Tyreke, Grizzlies dominate in 120-109 win

If last night was Tyreke Evans’ last home game as a Memphis Grizzly, he certainly put on a show.

Evans, who is expected to be traded by the NBA’s Feb. 8 deadline, scored 27 points to lead Memphis to a 120-109 victory over the Phoenix Suns. The home team blew the game open in the second quarter, outscoring Phoenix 42-21. The Suns never seriously threatened after that.

With a four-game road trip up next, the Grizzlies won’t play at FedExForum again until Feb. 7. If Evans is still on the team by then — a huge if — he likely won’t play as the team tries to move him. Meaning, this was likely his last game in Memphis as a Grizzly.
