MID Fellowship to salute ‘12 Most Outstanding Women’

The Memphis Inter-Denominational Fellowship, Inc. will honor women in the judicial system during its 2018 presentation of 12 Most Outstanding Women.

The event is set April 14 at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center at 800 E. Parkway S.

Award winning actress Karen Abercrombie, who stars in “War Room,” will be the keynote speaker, which is set to begin at 11:30 a.m.

The 12 Most Outstanding Women is designed to highlight “women of faith, prayer, good works, dedication and leadership.”

The honorees are: Judge Carolyn Wade Blackett, Hope Presbyterian Church; Commissioner Damita Dandridge, Cross of Calvary Lutheran Church; Judge Earnestine Hunt Dorse,  Mt. Pisgah Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Attorney Theressa F. Ford, Lakewood Church, Houston; Judge Kathleen Gomes, Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit; Judge Deborah Means Henderson, Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Westwood; Judge Gina C. Higgins, Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ; Judge Rhynette Northcross Hurd, Parkway Gardens United Presbyterian Church, Judge Betty Thomas Moore, Mt. Moriah-East Baptist Church, Judge Loyce Lambert Ryan, Parkway Gardens United Presbyterian Church, Judge Mary L. Wagner, Christ United Methodis Church, and Attorney Ruby Roy Wharton, St. Augustine Catholic Church.
