Been a while since the Grizzlies played at FedExForum — they’ve spent much of the past two weeks on a five-game West Coast road trip. But the script has largely remained the same: Grizzlies fall behind, rally, but simply don’t have the firepower to consistently win.
That was the case again Friday night as the Grizzlies played their first home game of the New Year. The opponent? The Washington Wizards. The result? See the previous paragraph.The Grizzlies’ leading scorer? Tyreke Evans. The final score? Memphis 100, Washington 102. That’s the script these days, and the Grizzlies are sticking to it.
