Trump Retweets Unnamed-Source Report on North Korea Condemned by UN Ambassador Because He Doesn’t Know What the Hell He’s Doing

Because Donald Trump has no clue what the hell he’s doing in office, and because no one in his staff can keep his dumb ass off Twitter, he tweeted out an anonymously sourced story (because, you know, Fox News), and within hours, United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley condemned the same story on Fox News.

Trump began tweeting first thing in the morning—most likely after his prune-juice smoothie—and while he allegedly hates unsourced stories, he tweeted a Fox News story containing classified information, a story that was anonymously sourced.

According to the New York Daily News, “Trump started his day with an early morning retweet of a story from the ‘Fox & Friends’ account saying the U.S. had detected North Korea loading two anti-ship cruise missiles onto a patrol boat several days ago. The article, which cited ‘U.S. officials with knowledge of the latest intelligence in the region,’ suggested North Korea is ignoring international threats to halt its weapons acceleration.”

Trump is a friend of Fox News and vice versa. They love each other. They spoon and share acai bowls together.

Haley later went on the same network—and the same show whose story Trump retweeted—and condemned that story, according to the Daily News.

“It’s incredibly dangerous when things get out into the press like that,” she said. “You are not only just getting a scoop on something; you are playing with people’s lives, and this has got to stop. Whatever the leaks are coming from, if somebody thinks they are getting power or fame from it, all you are doing is putting Americans in danger.”

Clearly the folks in this administration move the goalpost depending on where they stand in relation to the reports. So Trump is quick to call stories bashing his administration “fake news,” even going so far as to claim that unnamed sources are fabricated quotes created by journalists with agendas. The Daily News notes that Trump’s White House also vowed to crack down on leaks—unless, of course, they serve the dictator-in-chief’s agenda.
