Zach Randolph tells TMZ there will be no NBA comeback, says Morant has “good chance” to be Rookie of The Year

If anyone was holding out hopes of seeing Zach Randolph and his headband down in the low post once more, you can let go now.

As TMZ.com likes to do, they catch celebrities getting out of cars and just fire random questions at them. And when they caught up with Z-Bo in Los Angeles, the former Grizzlies big man rather nonchalantly announced his playing days were officially over.

Check out the clip below:

Randolph also expressed his admiration for the new-look Grizzlies, saying Grizz rookie Ja Morant has a good chance of being the Rookie of the Year.

“Ja is special,” Randolph said. “All those young fellas on the Grizzlies are special.”

The reporter asked if Randolph was still coming back to the NBA. Randolph smiled and shrugged. “Naw . . . naw,” he said. But what about coaching?

“I don’t know,” Randolph smiled before the clip ends.
