Issa Rae releases premiere date, trailer for season 2 of ‘Insecure’

Insecure is coming back for its second season on July 23, and ahead of that, HBO has just dropped a new trailer for the Issa Rae series.

In the trailer, Issa’s character attempts to, and at times seemingly struggles, to date after her breakup with Lawrence. Of course, along the way she has her girlfriends to hold her down.

The trailer also features songs “Come Down” by Anderson .Paak and Migos‘ “Slide.” The season itself will see a soundtrack curated by Solange Knowles, with Kelis, The Internet, D’Angelo, Thundercat and others lending their talents to the hit show.
