I watched Christina Nichols grow up in the church I attend.
The daughter of a preacher, she is well mannered and multitalented. She plays drums and piano (self-taught!). But in the 6th grade, she told her dad she wanted to play basketball. And now, she’s set to go play for Saint Francis University in Lorreto, Pa.
Nichols, a 5’9″ senior guard for the Arlington Lady Tigers, led Arlington to the regionals last year and was the team MVP. She is super-athletic with tremendous quickness and an outstanding mid-range game. She will be an important asset to the Lady Tigers again this year, before heading off to the North East Conference to join the SFU Red Flash family.
Check out these images I took of Christina signing her letter of intent, alongside her dad Rev. Stephen Nichols and his wife Kimberly.
