BancorpSouth Bank and WDIA 1070 Radio are collaborating on a series of radio programs to help consumers have a better understanding of the home-buying process.
The series will be a part of WDIA’s “Ask The Experts” show, moderated by radio host Bev Johnson, and underscores the bank’s commitment to improve the understanding of financial matters and increase the awareness of financial services in its communities.
“We want to help individuals and families achieve and sustain homeownership by providing tips and resources that could help reduce some of the common barriers,” said BancorpSouth Memphis, Tennessee Market President Tom Portis.
The bank’s “Ask The Experts segments,” which will feature BancorpSouth Mortgage Loan Area Manager Ruth Phillips, will provide consumer information about the benefits of homeownership, down payment assistance programs, credit repair and a variety of other topics.
BancorpSouth’s first “Ask The Expert segment was set to air on Thursday (June 6) at 11 a.m. Segments will be available for replay or download at https://mywdia.iheart.com.
