This Sunday (Feb. 16), poet/lyricist Sebastian Carson will be the featured guest on TSDRadio on WLOK as “Where Do We Go From Here?” host Karanja A. Ajanaku engages him in a conversation about the past, present and future of spoken word.
Carson emerged as the voters’ favorite in the spoken-word category of the Best In Black Awards presented by The New Tri-State Defender and its parent company, Best Media Properties, LLC, at the new Central Station Hotel on Feb. 6.
Tune in to WLOK (1340 AM, 105 FM) at 5 p.m. this Sunday to hear Carson detail his spoken-word journey and share snippets of some of his creations, including “Black Boys Round Here.”
