Young Dolph orchestrated his annual community giveback at the Memphis Athletic Ministries Hamilton Center last Thursday (Nov. 15). The Memphis artist held a rally for the local youth, as well as a turkey giveaway for families in need.
Kindergarten teacher Christian Moore collected turkeys and over 2,000 can goods for families in her Orange Mound School, Aspire Hanley Elementary. Students, staff, and families worked together to prepare Thanksgiving baskets for 50 families. Moore saw a need and created and executed a plan to combat hunger for the holidays.
These two recent scenarios were among many that reflected residents of Greater Memphis going about the business of doing good, interacting for growth and development, remembering long-standing friendships and building new ones.
