The Memphis Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has unveiled a roadmap of events designed to enhance fiscal fitness in Greater Memphis.
It’s all part of the 2nd Annual Fiscally Fit Challenge, featuring the Empower Me: Small Business Start Up, Kidpreneur and Homeownership Pitch Competition. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Participant Sign Up Day is Tuesday (May 28) from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Room 111 of the Science Building at LeMoyne Owen College at 807 Walker Ave.
Fiscally Fit Workshops and Pitch Writing Assistance Workshop will be presented at Session 2 on May 30. Pitch Day is June 1. A light dinner and/or lunch will be provided to program participants during each meeting.
Participation in the Pitch Competition is not mandatory to take advantage of the workshops, which include:

* Budget Formulation
* Show Me The Money – Finding Money to Fund Your Dream Business or Home Purchase
* Budgeting
* Debt Management
* Small Business / MWBE Certification
* Homeownership 101
