On Wednesday night, celebrities and family members all gathered together in order to say their last goodbyes to Charlie Murphy, who died last week after a long battle with leukemia.
Dave Chappelle, George Lopez, Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley and Eddie Griffin were among those in attendance at the funeral in New Jersey, and many of them took to social media to post their tributes as well.

โFirst stuff I ever officially directed were the Rick James and Prince stories. Dude [Murphy] changed my life. One of the most unique people Iโve ever met. So funny. So weirdโฆ Unforgettable dude. Really sadโฆโ Neal Brennan wrote onย Instagram.
Murphyโs family also released aย statement to E! News,ย saying, โOur hearts are heavy with the loss of our son, brother, father, uncle and friend Charlie. Charlie filled our family with love and laughter and there wonโt be a day that goes by that his presence will not be missed. Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and prayers. We respectfully ask for privacy during this time of great loss for all of us.โ
