Memphis rap sensation GloRilla, born Gloria Woods, was arrested Tuesday night in Forsyth County, Georgia, on felony drug charges but was released later that evening after posting a $22,000 bond.

The arrest came during a burglary investigation at her home, where deputies responding to reports of a break-in discovered what they described as a significant amount of marijuana. GloRilla turned herself in voluntarily and was booked on two felony counts: possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance and possession of marijuana over one ounce.

Despite the legal situation, fans in Memphis and from surrounding areas can rest easy. The 25-year-old artist is still set to headline her inaugural Glo Bash at FedExForum Friday night.

GloRillaโ€™s team has not yet commented on the charges, but sources close to the rapper confirm that she remains focused on delivering a show-stopping performance.

The arrest adds to a growing list of legal troubles for the Grammy-nominated star, who previously faced a DUI charge in 2024. Still, her career momentum continues, with her FedExForum concert marking a major milestone for Glo.

She is expected to appear in court later this year to address the recent charges. In Georgia, both offenses are considered felonies, although alternatives such as diversion programs may be available for first-time offenders.
