Clift Dates, retired founder of CDA Security, has teamed up with the Afro-American Police Association for the first in a series of musical events crafted to promote unity in the community.
“Help is on the way,” says Dates, co-founder of the Afro-American Police Association and a longtime promoter of musical talent.
According to Dates, community unity is a basic building block for the fundamental mindset shift he advocates as an absolutely necessary prerequisite for the community to evolve into a safer, healthier, nurturing environment for it future – the children.
The musical mission – sponsored by the Afro-American Police Association and Clift Dates Associates – lifted off Friday night (Nov. 5) at Brinson’s Downtown, 341 Madison Ave. at Danny Thomas.
