In a compelling display of skill and determination, Bartlett High Girls Basketball team went on a 7-0 run against Sevier County to secure a 54-42 win in the opening game of the 2024 TSSAA Girls Basketball Championship in Murfreesboro, TN.

Sevier County jumped out to an early lead, outscoring Bartlett 15-9 in the first quarter. Despite the early setback, Bartlett methodically closed the gap, showcasing their defensive strengths and seizing scoring opportunities. By halftime, Bartlett trailed by just two points, 23-21.

The game’s momentum shifted significantly in Bartlett’s favor during the second half. Led by Carrington Jones and her game-high 20 points, Bartlett outscored Sevier County 13-9 in the third quarter, setting the stage for a decisive final period.
