Brandy usually keeps her personal life on the down-low, but recently, she was featured on a new ballad with rumored boyfriend Sir the Baptist called “Deliver Me.”
The self-proclaimed “hip-hop chaplain’s” song tells the true story of his sister as she suffered from physical abuse by her husband, the church deacon. In the song, Baptist urges anyone going through the same thing to get out, and Brandy lends her gorgeous vocals to the powerful message.
As to whether these two are dating, there is no official declaration or anything, but there are plenty of cozy Instagram pics of the two of them together. In one, Brandy captioned a picture of the two of them stepping off a helicopter: “Straight off the #HeavenCopter with #HIM.”
Another celebrated his music as “Deliver Me” dropped: “#PureGold @sirthebaptist thank you for taking me with you around #NYC yesterday. The city looks brighter through your eyes. #Also , your music has truly changed my life….can’t wait for everyone to feel your truth… May 12, Yay!!! #SaintSinner #SirTheBaptist #Bible #LifeChanger #DeliverMe.”
Not to mention, Brandy appears on another one of Sir the Baptist’s songs titled “Good Ole Church Girl,” in which they two brag about being a “power couple” and Baptist drops the line, “I got Brandy and Jay got Beyoncé.”
