On Tuesday, Michael Strahan was absent from Good Morning America, and on Wednesday, he returned wearing a bandage around his pinkie finger and explaining that he had lost part of it due to a โlittle accident.โ
Well after much speculation about what exactly happened, Strahanย posted a video to Twitter giving more of an explanation.
In his video, the former NFL playerย described how he was working on one of his cars when he lost part of the finger.
โI just wonโt mess with the cars in the way that I was because if you do, you might lose a piece of your digit,โ he joked, saying that he wasnโt planning on doing any mechanic work in the future after learning his lesson this time around.
On Wednesday, Strahan didnโt give details of how he had lost part of his pinkie, simply stating that he had an accident when he returned to Good Morning America.
โLost a little bit of my pinky,โ the 45-year-old told co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.
At the time, he showed of the bandage he was wearing and joked around about the injury. But after fans poured out concern and questions, it seems he felt he needed to be more transparent.
I guess Iโm no mechanic Lol. But Iโm all good ? Thanks for all of your positive thoughts and well wishes! pic.twitter.com/yGhOob1GLV
