Following a review of the recently released State interim audit findings, Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) has launched a dedicated webpage, www.mscsprogress.org, to provide updates and highlight measurable progress on the issues identified.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Dr. Roderick Richmond released a video on the MSCS Facebook page in response to the audit finding and how the district is working to respond.

The new webpage will serve as a centralized resource for stakeholders to track the district’s response efforts, including actions taken to strengthen operational practices and enhance fiscal accountability, MSCS said in a statement Monday.

Richmond states in the video that the preliminary audit findings present an important opportunity for the district to reestablish community trust by reinforcing systems, improving processes and advancing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Under Richmond’s leadership, MSCS says it remains focused on solution-oriented strategies that prioritize progress over division and is committed to presenting clear, factual updates, fostering collaboration, and maintaining an unwavering focus on excellence for every student served.

The webpage will be updated regularly as additional progress is made.
