Jeremiah Martin has been exceeding expectations for his whole basketball career. Hopefully he’s about to do it again.
Despite being one of the more dominant players in the American Athletic Conference last season, Martin went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. He did get picked up by the Miami Heat for the NBA Summer League however, and after an impressive showing, the Heat made it official Thursday:
OFFICIAL: The Miami HEAT have signed guard Jeremiah Martin and forward Chris Silva.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, so as of this writing, we don’t know if Martin’s deal guarantees him a training camp spot, let alone a multi-year deal. But he will get his chance to prove he belongs in the NBA – and Tigers fans will be cheering for him all the way.
