He was committed to elevating the African American voice in this community through his exceptional journalism and incredible eye for a great photo. After leaving the Commercial Appeal, Dr. Ajanaku joined TSD and loved working with and training young journalist and creating content that educated and elevated the community.
Dr. Ajanaku will be missed by his Tri-State Defender family and all those who read his memorable articles that helped transform our media organization.”
