On Friday, new reports surfaced alleging that Aaron Hernandez had written a suicide note to his prison boyfriend before hanging himself using bedsheets in his cell.
The fact that Hernandez had such a boyfriend, and that he was apparently bisexual, has emerged in some reports as a possible motive for murder in considering the death of Odin Lloyd. Multiple law enforcement sources have confirmed that Lloyd knew about Hernandez’s sexuality, with The New York Daily News positing from Newsweek reports that this could have been a factor in Lloyd’s murder.

Lloyd’s mother, Ursula Ward, said on Friday that Hernandez’s suicide on Wednesday had opened up fresh wounds in the loss of her son.
“I lost my son, the love of my life,” she said. “I’ll never see him again.”
As the investigation continues into Hernandez’s apparent suicide, Bristol Superior Court Judge Thomas McGuire has also recently granted a request by Hernandez’ former fiancee to preserve certain evidence linked to his death. Herndandez’ family will be conducting their own investigation into his death to determine if it was really a suicide or if there was foul play involved.
