“It’s that time of year again,” said Stevie Moore, founder of Freedom From Unnecessary Negatives (FFUN). “We are giving away hundreds of toys this Saturday in our 4th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway.”

Moore staged the announcement at a Tuesday morning press conference at the organization’s headquarters, located at 3214 S. Third Street.

The giveaway is slated for Saturday, Dec. 18, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“I wanted to call the press conference right here so everyone could see all the many toys we already have,” said Moore. “A number of organizations donate hundreds of new toys and games for our annual event. Others support our effort with money. We are always appreciative of everything.”

This year, the giveaway will be a drive-thru event. Vehicles will begin lining up at 10:30 a.m., at the organization’s headquarters. The giveaway will start promptly at 11 a.m. Each car should have a maximum of three children to be served.

Donations can still be made online at: ffunsaveyouth.org, or, checks can be mailed to: FFUN; 3214 S. Third Street; Memphis, TN, 38109. All gifts are tax-deductible.
