Remember in the old days, when a utility worker would come to your house and read your meter?
Well, the good old days are tomorrow. MLGW sent the following statement out Thursday:
MLGW to read analog meters on Saturday, January 6
To better serve our customers without smart meters and protect them from being billed for 35 or more days of service, MLGW will read analog meters in cycle 6 on Saturday, January б.
MLGW employees typically read analog meters once per month on a weekday; occasionally the utility reads meters on Saturdays.
For more information, go to mlgw.com or call 544-6549.
So if you have an analog meter and you see someone near your house looking at it tomorrow, don’t worry — they’re supposed to be there.
