The phrase, coined by Mojo through his social media parody skits, captures a wide range of humorous situations—whether it’s dealing with an ex-girlfriend, a club security guard, your child’s mother’s new boyfriend, or consoling a heartbroken friend.

Mojo’s creative genius has turned “Unhand Me Now” into a viral catchphrase, amassing him over 1 million social media followers.

Mojo’s rapid rise to fame has landed him spots on tours with comedic heavyweights such as Mike Epps, Lil Duval, and DeRay Davis. In early 2024, he toured with them on the We Them Ones tour, visiting 36 cities between February and May.

The Unhand Me Now tour arrived in Memphis as the 31st stop on its 33-city run, with Mojo taking center stage as the headliner. It’s clear that Mojo is a rising star in the comedy world, earning the approval of industry veterans with decades of experience.

With a comedy special on the way and a project in development with Tyler Perry, Mojo’s future looks incredibly bright. His humble, energetic, and refreshing stage presence continues to win over audiences nationwide.

The evening kicked off with comedian Correy Bell, a fellow Chicago native, who expressed her gratitude for Mojo’s mentorship. During her set, she brought out Wild Beale, a local Memphis comedian whose raw talent and growing fanbase captivated the crowd, further proving Memphis’s reputation as a city rich with emerging comedic talent.
