Writing by Design Media, Inc., whose founder and president is Paula Anderson, is hosting a virtual panel discussion on Tuesday (Feb. 15) to talk about entrepreneurship and economic initiatives that impact Memphis entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Associate Publisher/Executive Editor Karanja A. Ajanaku of The New Tri-State Defender will moderate the discussion, which is designed with African American History Month as the backdrop.
Set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the discussion will feature these panelists:
- Alandas Dobbins, founder of Oteka Technologies, LLC;
- Mike Hoffmeyer, director of the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship;
- Michael McGhee, founder of MDM Investments of Memphis;
- Shelby Peranich, associate director, Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Christian Brothers University (CBU);
- Ernest Strickland, president of the Black Business Association.
