For reasons having much to do with MLK50 activities and publications, I’ve been out of pocket. But there really hasn’t been much to say, other than the Grizz look scrappy but hapless out there most of the time. Grit-N-Grind seems like aeons ago.

But I made a point to check out the last bit of NBA basketball we’ll see for six months. Who can say how many of these players will be back in the fall? And sure, winning games doesn’t help the team’s draft positioning. That said, you really want to win the last game of the season in front of your fans. Fortunately, the Grizzlies jumped on the Detroit Pistons early and weathered a series of runs to post their highest scoring game of the season, a 130-117 win.
