Maya Drake, starring as “Ali,” and the cast of the North American tour of Alicia Keys’ musical “Hell’s Kitchen.”

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Alicia Keys’ semi-autobiographical musical, “Hell’s Kitchen,” is set to premiere in Memphis at the Orpheum Theatre, March 16-21, 2027. Tickets are on sale now for the Tony Award-winning stage production.

The story begins with Ali, a gifted 17-year-old girl, searching for freedom, passion and her place in the world. Along the way, her musical mentor changes her life, her dynamic family nurtures her talent and the 1990s New York City neighborhood where she lives helps her grow. Relatable and raw, “Hell’s Kitchen” celebrates self-discovery and finding purpose in life.

Inspired by the book “Hell’s Kitchen” by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz, the North American tour of the Broadway play is directed by five-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, known for “Rent,” “Dear Evan Hansen” and “The Notebook,” and features five-time Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown’s choreography set to Keys’ new songs and greatest hits.

The New York Times called the Broadway show, which won two 2025 Tony Awards and the 2025 Grammy Award for best musical theater album, “thrilling from beginning to end — a rare must-see.”
