Andrew L. (Drew) McCraven III has been named assistant program director for WLOK radio. He is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementing WLOK’s programs and projects.
“Drew’s longtime experience in the entertainment and marketing industries makes him a great fit for WLOK,” said Art Giliam, president of WLOK. “He supports our 50-year mission to present broadcast excellence and understands our commitment to the Memphis community.”
McCraven is the owner of Millennial Entertainment, a marketing entertainment and event planning company and 901 PR Firm, specializing in marketing, branding, and public relations.
“When I look at all the legendary DJs who have come through this station, I feel very fortunate and blessed to be here at WLOK as an on-air personality,” said McCraven.
Since its founding a half century ago, WLOK has been a local broadcast leader offering listeners a wide format of gospel music and talk shows that focus on news and information. WLOK also presents several community events, including the annual WLOK Stone Soul Picnic, and the WLOK Black Film Festival.
