A new Xfinity store opened Wednesday at 4461 Elvis Presley Blvd. in the Whitehaven neighborhood.
The location is part of Comcast’s effort to expand its retail presence in the Mid-South. Rachel Ozias, vice president of sales and marketing for the Big South Region, welcomed visitors to the new store.
Several elected officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony, including state Sen. Raumesh Akbari, Shelby County Commissioner Edmund Ford Jr., Memphis City Council members Pearl Walker and J.B. Smiley, and Shelby County Chief Administrative Officer Harold Collins.
