Youth pastors, leaders to converge at The Josiah Experience Memphis

Speakers, labs, worship, lunch and free resources for student ministries – Welcome to The Josiah Experience.

“This event will be an investment and encourage those youth pastors and their teams that are making a lasting impact in the lives of students,” said the Rev. Bobby Hampton Jr., youth and young adult pastor at The House of Hope in Atlanta under the leadership of mega-church Pastor Dr. E. Dewey Smith.

Pursuit of God Transformation Center’s Frayser Campus at 3171 Signal St. will be the host venue for The Josiah Experience, which is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 11).

Hampton historically has only held the training conference in Atlanta, with hundreds of youth leaders coming from myriad parts of the nation. This year, he decided to take the conference on the road, with Memphis as the destination. On the receiving end of Hampton’s conference-location desire was Brennan Hill, youth and young adult pastor at The Pursuit of God Transformation Center.

“I am extremely humbled by Pastor Bobby and The Josiah Experience committee for choosing us as their host ministry,” Hill said. “We will give our best effort to make this conference become the norm for urban youth ministries around America.
