For many Memphians, finding stable employment can be the first step toward long-term financial security. On Friday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 3 p.m., Agape Child & Family Services’ TeamWorks division will host its monthly Career Fair at Crosstown Concourse, 1350 Concourse Ave., Sixth Floor, Suite 668, providing a vital connection between job seekers and employers across the Mid-South.

The event is free and open to anyone looking for work. Organizers encourage participants to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their résumé to ensure they are ready to make a strong impression.

Connecting job seekers and employers

This month’s fair will feature a diverse lineup of employers, representing both large corporations and community-based organizations. Confirmed participants include:

  • City of Memphis
  • Dwell In Place
  • Ewing Moving and Storage
  • FedEx
  • Fyzical Therapy & Balance
  • Glide Express Carwash
  • Goodwill
  • Heart to Heart Home Health
  • Leafguard
  • Meritan
  • Support Solutions
  • Supreme Staffing
  • AFIRM: A Father’s Involvement Matters

By bringing together a wide range of industries from health care and logistics to municipal services and home care, TeamWorks hopes to connect job seekers with meaningful opportunities that fit their skills and goals.

A monthly commitment to economic mobility, the career fair is not a one-time event but part of Agape TeamWorks’ ongoing effort to create pathways toward economic mobility. Held on the first Friday of every month, the fairs serve as a consistent and reliable resource for individuals in the community who are actively searching for employment or looking to advance their careers.

“Employment is one of the most important factors in building stability for individuals and families,” said Agape leadership. “Our monthly Career Fairs are designed to not just help people find jobs but to help them build careers that can transform their futures.”

Employers are also encouraged to participate. There is no cost for companies to reserve a table, and they are invited to complete a job order form to share current openings with attendees. This model allows both job seekers and employers to benefit. Job seekers gain access to real opportunities, while employers can meet qualified candidates who are ready to work.
