Seeing as how Summer literally officially started less than a week ago on June 21, it seems strange to start talking about back-to-school immunization shots . . . but here we are.
From the Shelby County Health Department:
Children enrolling in child care facilities, those entering preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten; those starting seventh grade; students transferring from schools outside of Tennessee; and students entering institutes of higher education, including the University of Memphis, all may require vaccinations. The Shelby County Health Department’s Immunization Program can provide those vaccinations and assist with required documentation.
No appointment is required for immunization-only clinic visits either at the Immunization Clinic at 814 Jefferson or at the satellite Health Department clinics listed below. Please bring the child’s complete vaccination records and up-to-date insurance information to the clinic.
Clinics are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm unless otherwise noted.
