A Back 2 School Health Fair featuring free school supplies, information booths and live entertainment is set for Saturday (July 13) at the Johne Early Family Life Center, 1542 Pope St.

Registration for the event, which will be held behind St. Paul “Douglass” Missionary Baptist, will be from 8 a.m. to 8:45 am. The fair will stretch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the day including free breakfast and lunch.

The host churches and organizations are St. Paul Douglass, St. John-Chelsea, Peace Baptist, Greer Chapel, Hair Flawless Barbershop and Mason Pride West 297. Walmart Health and Wellness is sponsoring the fair and will be represented by Dr. Warren J. Free school supplies will be distributed while they last to children under 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.

With various community agencies on hand, there will be health and vision screenings, along with information about parenting, bullying prevention, voters registration, stress management and more.
