James “Big Ticket” Wiseman — the nation’s No. 1. college recruit and University of Memphis signee — had plenty to smile about over the weekend via a parade honoring the standout East High School basketball star.
The parade kicked off early Saturday afternoon on Walnut Grove near the Benjamin L. Hooks Library and ended up Holmes Rd. with entry into the Gym. Family and friends mixed with those who didn’t personally know Wiseman but were overjoyed by his decision to stay home and play at the the UofM.
The parade and pep rally was presented by The Redwing Group, Creative Solutions, Branchin University Entertainment, LLC and the E Club.
