Mayor, Police Chief, EDGE Leader to chat with local business leaders

Memphis Mayor Paul Young and Interim Police Chief CJ Davis will chat with community and business leaders Wednesday evening about access to capital, crime prevention and the future of doing business in Memphis.

Bank of America Memphis, in collaboration with the City of Memphis and the Memphis & Shelby County Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE), will host the forum, which will also feature Dr. Joann Massey, Vice President of Operations at EDGE.

Trevia Chatman, President of Bank of America Memphis, emphasized the importance of this event in a statement.

“At Bank of America, we continuously support economic opportunity for diverse people and communities. We do everything we can to help local business owners grow and realize their dreams,” Chatman said. “We look forward to having this important discussion with Mayor Young, Chief Davis, and EDGE to help enhance our thriving business community.”

The event will be held at Bank of America’s Poplar Avenue location at 6060 Poplar Ave. and is open to businesses of all sizes. Attendees will engage in discussions aimed at creating a safer and more prosperous environment for all Memphis residents.
